The NY Times has just reported that Gov. David A. Paterson has announced that he would introduce a bill to legalize same-sex marriage in the state. In his comments this morning he compared “the status of gay men and lesbians to that of African-Americans, Jews, women, and other groups who were historically excluded from full political and social equality,” explaining that he would lead a movement to authorize same-sex marriage.

Thank you Gov. Paterson!! Now, if only the remaining Governors in America would follow, realizing that there is no place for discrimination in our country!
