Cars
Now, Now Every Children
Format: The first full length album from indie duo Cacie Dalager (who is super cute and a lesbian according to her MySpace) and Brad Hale whose days of friendship and playing music together date back to their days growing up together in Blaine, Minnesota. Why you’ll like them: Their sound can be described as the dreamy lovechild of Tegan and Sara & Deathcab For Cutie. One listen and you’ll be hooked.
The Fiddle and The Drum (DVD)
Joni Mitchell
Legendary Canadian artist Joni Mitchell and internationally acclaimed choreographer Jean Grand-Maître of the Alberta Ballet Company are the co-creators of Joni Mitchell’s The Fiddle and The Drum which explores Mitchell’s life-long concerns about environmental neglect and the warring nature of mankind within a ballet performed to a select soundtrack of her eternal songs.
Hounds of Love (DVD)
Kate Bush
This documentary looks back at the 1985 album of the same name and features interviews with musicians who played on the album as well as a sit down with the director and music critics discussing the record’s impact.
