New Haven, Connecticut GLBT Forum

The New Haven, Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Community Center will host a statewide discussion focused on platform issues in the presidential election as it relates to Connecticut’s GLBT community on Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 6-8 p.m. Speakers during the evening will include Christopher Healy, Chairman of the Connecticut Republicans, and Nancy DiNardo, Chairwoman of the Connecticut Democrats.

The evening will feature topics of interest to the state’s GLBTQ community. Organizers say to expect to participate in a lively exchange on issues such as marriage and civil unions, employment and discrimination, bias crimes, HIV/AIDS and healthcare.
