Lesbians in Space?

Apparently there will be a lesbian plotline on the upcoming Stargate Universe, a new show from the Stargate franchise. Spoiler TV has published a casting call for: “[SHARON] 35 years old, Camille Wray’s (Ming-Na’s) long term partner. Sensitive, soulful. Strong emotional scenes.” Stargate Universe, which is a sci-fi TV series about a team of (scientists? explorers?) who are trapped on a runaway ship that takes them to the far ends of the Universe, is set to begin airing this Fall on The Sci Fi Channel.
