In Girl + Girl: Classic Lesbian Short Films you get 88 minutes of creative and entertaining lesbian short films that span from 1988 to 2003.

The collection, curated by lesbian archivist Jenni Olson and produced in 2006, includes festival favorites like the short masterpiece, Rispondetemi (by Lost & Delirious director Lea Pool), the British lesbian coming-out fantasy Rosebud, and the multiple Audience-Award winning tale a couple that is questioning non-monogamy, Maid of Honor.

All of the seven films included on the DVD are unique, thought provoking, and memorable. From the serious and dramatic nature of Rispondetemi, to the more light hearted Maid of Honor, and the relatable While I’ll Never Trust YOU (In 200 Words or Less) each of the shorts take the viewer on an examination of some aspect of lesbianism and “Girl + Girl” relationships that only we grrls can understand.

Overall, the films are all classics and the DVD is a wonderful collection that should be included in every lesbian’s film library.
