I have always held out hope for Lindsay Lohan. I really have.
Since I was 8 years old I have been actively following her acting career from Parent Trap to Life-Size to Mean Girls, which I still watch every weekend. Even after she started racking up DUI’s and failing to appear in court, I would give her the benefit of the doubt. When she stole that necklace, I knew in my heart it was an honest mistake. I was even on her side when she was sent to jail, yet again, for not completing her community service. Chugging vodka-sodas and snorting cocaine takes a lot of time. I mean honestly, the police need to be a little more reasonable.
I cheered for Lohan when she and Samantha Ronson got together. It was a sigh of relief that Lohan finally recognized and appreciated her inner lesbianism. And what a great looking couple the two made! I think I was more heartbroken than Ronson when the they split.
Even recently, when Linds forgot to pay her $46,000 bill at Chateau Marmont, I really believed her when she claimed she was under the impression her producers were going to pay for it.
As you can see, I have been on Team LiLo for years now. Of course, this was all before she publicly announced her endorsement of Mitt Romney last week.
“I think unemployment is very important for now, so as of now I think [my vote] is Mitt Romney.” – Lohan
Lindsay, I think I speak for most when I say that even Mitt Romney won’t be able to find you a job with your track record. However, if by some miracle he can, at least you can be certain you’ll be home in time to cook dinner.
So, while I don’t know if I can stand up for Lohan anymore, I do sleep well at night knowing the star hasn’t actually registered to vote yet. It’s understandable though, she’s got a lot on her plate, you know, with clubbing with her mom until 4 a.m. and publicly fighting with her dad.
