Cherrygrrl’s Fresh Pick of the Week: South Bay Pride

For those who thought Pride events were all about the month of June – think again. On Sunday August 24th from 1-5pm the South Bay Alliance in South San Diego County will be celebrating pride with their biggest and best event of the year. The event will take place in Chula Vista’s Memorial Park in the Heart of the Historic District of downtown Chula Vista and feature an afternoon of food, entertainment, and fun.

Featured performers include Latin Rhythm Creations, Roxy Blue & Band, Allondra’s Dancers, and Rhythm the Method.

South Bay Alliance is a non-profit organization building a coalition of the LGBT community and its allies for social networking, business promotion, and political action in South San Diego County.
