Bill Clinton Voices Support For Gay Marriage

During a recent speaking engagement before an audience of college students, former US President Bill Clinton was asked if he personally supported same-sex marriage and his response was: “Yeah.” “I personally support people doing what they want to do.” “I think it’s wrong for someone to stop someone else from doing that [same-sex marriage].” This is a change of opinion for Clinton as he opposed same-sex marriage during his eight years as president and signed the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act.
