Anti-Equality Organizers in Maine Hire “Yes on 8″ Campaign PR Firm

Opponents of marriage equality in Maine, in an attempt to overturn the state’s law legalizing marriage for same-sex couples, have hired the California PR firm that ran California’s Yes on 8 campaign. However, the Human Rights Campaign has reported that, on the pro-equality side, supporters have hired their own political strategist – one that is well known for running Maine’s successful Maine Won’t Discriminate campaign that upheld a statewide non-discrimination law in 2005.
