One of President Obama’s 15 recess appointments this past week was Chai Feldblum, a professor of law and out lesbian, to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Feldblum’s appointment comes on the heels of her work on drafting ENDA legislation. Her appointment is valid for one year; her tenure will then rest in Congress’s hands.
